GENERAL SUMMARY

Coordinates with the business manager of Putnam to ensure the vocational shops adhere to policies and procedures regarding procurement and budgeting needs.

  • Acts as a liaison between school officials and vocational business industry
  • Works collaboratively with vocational staff to maintain records for students’ trade
  • Fiscally responsible to monitor all local and grant vocational expenditures and
  • Processes and maintains vocational requisitions and purchase
  • Prepare regular reports, and present information on vocational expenditures and balances for local and Perkins funds.
  • Organize and maintain office files; answer the telephone, take messages and responds to their
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Vocational Administrative

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or University and or 2-4 years’ experience in a similar position.

  • Knowledge of the basic principals of accounting, purchasing, and contract
  • Excellent communication (oral, verbal, & written), and interpersonal
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal
  • Proficiency in general computer operations and techniques including but not limited to: Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member in a diverse educational multicultural
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of translation process and protocols
  • Ability to recruit and manage a team of translators
  • Ability to create partnerships across functions to gather and maintain document libraries
  • Skills in writing, proofing and editing Spanish-language documents
  • Skills in project management
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access and other various database software programs involving spreadsheets
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with ability to prioritize responsibilities, be flexible and meet deadlines
